I hope everyone is enjoying the pleasant and cool weather this summer and that your roses are extra happy! We had a fun filled picnic and 70-year celebration in July with a great turn out, amazing food and perfect weather. Be sure to check out the pictures in the newsletter!

We do not have a meeting in August but will start September with a great program and a monthly rose show, so plan to attend and exhibit. PRS will be co-hosting our 2026 Rose Show with our district, NCNH. We will also have the San Mateo County Rose Society and Santa Clara Rose Society assisting as before. Mike Myrick and Stuart Dalton will co-chair – many fun details to follow on this.

We will have some officer and board positions open for 2026, so if you would like to get involved, just let me know and I can give you more details on what is expected for various roles. It is fun to be part of planning how our Society evolves and changes, and you may meet many fun and interesting people.

We are a completely volunteer-based organization, so consider jumping in!

Enjoy the rest of the summer, spend time in the garden, and we will look forward to getting back together in the fall.
