Propagate Like a Pro

Join us November 17th for our final member’s meeting of the year, when Barbara Gordon will speak to us about being “Hip on Rose Hips.” Barbara will teach us all about rose hips, the different types, and various uses for them, such as teas, jelly, holiday decorating, and use in arrangements.

In addition to photos and charts, Barbara will bring in the real thing for us to examine. If some plants are still in bloom, she will bring in those too so we can see the transition from flower to hip. Hips are a late season gift, and mark a beautiful exclamation point to the end of the rose blooming year.
