Dear PRS Members,

May is all about roses! Our Rose Show and Sale is coming up this weekend! Find a few lovely blooms to enter, create an arrangement, and come and enjoy the show and help out with all members of the PRS. We have a fun field trip this month, as well as several fun community events. The work on the Rose Garden at Red Morton Park has yielded amazing results – a special thanks to Scott Morton for leading this charge. This is exactly the type of project that the PRS embraces – very visible to the community and really showing the PRS in a good light!

We have also greatly benefited from the PRS presence at the Redwood City Kiwanis Farmers’ Market – again, great visibility and information sharing with the public. Thanks to Judy Webster for spearheading and leading this wonderful project. Plan to come out and help on a Saturday! We will also be doing a hands-on activity focused on kids at future farmers’ markets. Stay tuned for that!
