Dear PRS Members,

September is here and fall is on the way! I hope everyone
enjoyed a pleasant summer and that your roses survived the various heat spells we had!

The PRS had a wonderful picnic hosted by Anne Quincy in July – the weather was perfect; we had a great turnout and amazing food! Thanks to Anne for hosting us!

The PRS also continued with their lovely booth at the Redwood City Farmers Market, and we added a new twist – we had children and adults create mini rose flower arrangements. A brief article on this is in this month’s newsletter. Thanks to Judy and Doug for heading up
the Farmers Market project – it is great visibility for our group.

The work also continued throughout our summer break on the Catherine Brennan Rose Garden at Red Morton Park, and it is looking fantastic. We will all meet there for our next membership meeting on 9/17 – details to follow. And lastly, don’t forget to bring some of your cut roses and some flower arrangements for our club mini show at our meeting.
