Save the Date – Sunday, May 3, 2015
If you love roses, then save the date! The Peninsula Rose Society will be holding its 58th Annual Rose Show on Sunday, May 3, 2015, from 1 – 5 p.m. The show will be held at the Redwood City Community Activities Building, which is located at 1400 Roosevelt Avenue in Redwood City, California. Admission is free.
There will be hundreds of roses on display, and free rose-related handouts and magazines. In addition, several Consulting Rosarians will be available to answer your questions on the care and pampering of roses, as well as information on which varieties grow best in our area.
One of the highlights of our Annual Rose Show is the large Rose Raffle. Dozens of potted rose plants will be raffled, as well as other rose-related gift items. Raffles will be held at 2:00 and 3:00 p.m., so be sure to be on hand to try your luck!
The rose competition is open to the public. Rose entries will be received between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. the day of the Show. For more information on exhibiting your roses at the Show, please contact the PRS Rose Show Co-Chairman at (650) 363-2062.
