Dear PRS Members,

Well, April and May look like busy months for rose lovers! Not only do we have our lovely gardens to work in, but we have our first PRS Monthly Rose Show at our meeting on April 16. See the new schedule and plan to bring roses and arrangements! This is also great practice for our BIG ROSE SHOW on May 5, 2024. This is a major undertaking and a great source of good PR for our club. Please plan to come and help, enjoy the roses, bring a rose or two and an arrangement to exhibit, and have fun! We also have a fun garden tour that is being put on by the San Mateo Rose Society – details below. Special thanks to John Erskine for inviting us to tour his lovely garden with the amazing tulip display!

Info: The San Mateo County Rose Society would like to invite members of the Peninsula and Santa Clara County Rose Societies on a field trip to visit the beautiful San Jose Municipal Rose Garden during its first full blooms. We will meet near the center fountain at 11 a.m. and have a tour led by one of their Master Volunteers. Following that, we can have a bring-your-own-bag lunch to get to know each other better and share rose and garden chats.
