Thank you to PRS member Scott Morton, who has taken on this wonderful project to restore and maintain the Rose Garden at Red Morton Park in Redwood City. Many members of the PRS attended two special pruning days to prune over 300 roses! The PRS was also provided a wonderful donation from Lyngso Garden Materials of 10 yards(!) of mulch to help improve the soil and to keep the weeds down. We also got a generous donation from Hassett Ace Hardware of six new rose bushes to replace some of the roses that were beyond help. This is a wonderful project, and the Parks department will be placing a permanent sign showing the PRS and our sponsors as supporting this garden.
